    Toolbar

    User can utilize the buttons on the toolbar to zoom in/out and move around the area shown to locate the desired address.

    　

    Printing

    By clicking on the print button, the system will print out the area of the map selected by the user and label, scale and orient the map.  The file will be printed from the user’s printer without using special equipment.

    　

    　

    Search by Street

    　

    The system will display all streets matching the user’s criteria.  When the user clicks the desired street name, the system will position the road in the center of the display and the street will become white.

    　
    　 　

    　

    　

    Position by Address

    If the user has an address, click on Position by Address to search by the address.  The user clicks on the administrative district and the “street, road, section”, area, or alley.  For example, if the address is No. 5, Shihping 1st Street, Anping District, click “Anping District” and “street, road, section”.

    The user can also search by tying in the address directly. The user does not have to enter the complete address, just the street name or the district and the street.  For example, if the address is No. 5, Shihping 1st Street, Anping, just enter “Shihping 1st Street, Anping District” or “Shihping 1st Street”.  Do not enter the address as “No. 5, Anping District”.

    　

    Besides positioning through listed addresses, the system also allows user to double click on the desired address and list the selected address.

    　

    　

    　

    Position by Landmarks

    　

    When the user enters this search mode, the system will offer a list of selection categories to choose from.  The user selects the administrative district and landmark category, and the system will search through the database and display all matching items for the user to choose.

    After the users chooses the landmark, the system will display the map containing the landmark and position it in the middle of the window.

    　

    　

    　

    Position by Intersection

    After the user enters the name of the first street, the system will display all streets intersecting the first street for the user to choose.

    After the user selects the second street, the system will automatically position the intersection.

    　

    　

    System Function

    By clicking the right mouse button in the systems window, the following pop-up windows will appear:

    　
    　

    •  Click “Print” to customize export settings

    • Click “paper” to set paper size

    • Click “Print” to choose printer

    • Click “Duplicate” to copy the map in the screen into the clipboard

    •  Click “view” to adjust window setting

    •  Click “enlarge” can enlarge the window

    •  Click “reduce” can reduce the size of the window

    •  Click “Screen Width” to adjust the display width    of the map

    •  Click “scale” to set the scale shown

    •  Click “Back” to go back to previous page

    •  Click “Municipal District” to go back to city view

    •  Click “Search” to search information

    •  Click on the information to do further search.  For example, if a street number is clicked, the full address can be searched.

    •  The scale can be used to measure the distance on the screen.
